With the possible exception of LA or New York, where is the cheapest housing priced at a million dollars? I am a real estate major and I can tell you that you are wrong. In the northeast the medium house price is $240,000. In the Midwest you are looking at $157,000. In the south the medium is $173,000. And in the west it is around $280,000. Don't let the cost of homes fool you, in the more expensive areas, the cost of living is also more expensive. Quit picking on Jackson. Our families are doing just fine.
