Hey guys, I’m the one who made the sophomore post that this website decided to take down😆 My best advice for you girls wanting to rush as a sophomore/transfer is don’t do it unless you have very very strong connections or don’t care about the brutal cuts you will go through. “Top” houses on campus will cut you on the first cut and even some middle-bottom tier. Legacy or not. Any time it is brought up in conversation that you are a sophomore the whole vibe of the conversation will change and the girls will become less interested in you. All across the board this was an awful experience as a sophomore and I would not recommend it to anyone. This is not just me speaking from my experience I met other sophomore’s who are going through the same thing. Ole Miss has no quota for a specific number of sophomore’s initiated into each chapter so ultimately they want to take all the freshman to try to get the max amount of money possible out of the people. I understand that and am not saying it’s okay but I do understand from the financial side. Just don’t waste your time or your money on the rush process girls. The advice I have been given is to sign up for COB and try to go into a sorority that way through a more chill process. Resumes/Legacy/What all you were voted onto and a part of in high school doesn’t matter when you aren’t a freshman!!
