Houses can take as many legacies as they want. The nationals make suggestions on legacy but they don’t decide who the chapter does or does not take. The “nationals” excuse is used to make people feel good. If you are a legacy from out of state and your mama went to sime out of region school your legacy basically doesn’t count here unless you’ve been connected to the local chapter for years.
