Poster Message:
Larger National houses have so many legacies they may not have room to take them to a courtesy round for number 2. Sometimes they cannot even invite all their in house legacies back. Nationals put new policies in place a few years ago so sororities could have diversity and not be obligated to take a pledge class of legacies. Many legacies get cut before round 2. This may be better than having them on your list taking up your time and getting cut right before preference. So look at it as a positive for a reason most likely having nothing to do with you may be released and not led on. Other sororities are not going to assume you will go to your legacy sorority these days given the new rules. It is just brutal cuts at Ole Miss with girls going through the one's even with great connections end up getting cut during the process. Head up you will find a good home with a group that really wants you for you. All the sororities are good at Ole Miss. But give up the idea of having a safety sorority.
