We are not really supposed to talk about voting procedures, so there is no way you will get an honest answer. Also, every house is different. But generally: 1. Legacy status will certainly help you. Yes other houses might cut you if they think they don't have a shot. It's nothing personal, they just don't want to waste a precious spot on somebody who in the end wound except a bid. If your legacy status is from your grandmother, aunt or cousins, those don't really count. We only care about legacies who's moms or sisters attended ole miss. 2, sophomores have all the power during rush. They are not the ones ordering the lists, but they are the ones who vote yes or no. With the exception of the recruitment team and officers, you probably won't even see any juniors or seniors there unless they are involved in the skit, and even then, they don't rank or vote. 3. It's okay to wear fraternity letters, but you would be shooting yourself in the foot if you wear sorority letters. The sorority who's letters you are wearing will be offended and not give you a bid. And the other houses will pass as well because they will think you have your heart set in another house.
