XO and DDD have slipped. Just because they're the oldest, have the most debutantes or whatever doesn't mean they're the best. And you're an idiot if you don't think KD has alums working on their bid list too. DG has occupied the "bubble" between top and middle since forever. They hold a special place with their national, but they closed and recolonized early in their history. If you consider tradition important in determining tiers, that bumps them down in prestige just a bit.
