Whatever extenuating circumstances people had in high school usually cont to college (Learning Dis.,working etc). And college is harder than high school so if someone was unable to make good grades in high school, adding greek life to their plate in college won't help. That is the simple truth, harsh as it seems some people need to focus on academics in college or they can end up back at home. Also most sororities nationals set their GPA limit and there is nothing they can do about it.
