If you want a good reputation, you have to earn it. Coming onto this site and bashing people with different viewpoints as yourself is not going to change anything. As pnm's we are looking for groups of women we are familiar with. Women similar to our best friends we sadly left behind in high school, women who we still keep in touch with at their various colleges across the nation. We join sororities we feel comfortable in. Theta was not that house for me! It was the furthest away from my comfort zone. I could not see myself in a house that was perceived as being the outcasts and rejects. Call me superficial, but don't criticize me for my choice in friends. I'm sure they are great women, I just don't chose to make a lifelong commitment to them. This site wouldn't have 100's of negative posts about them if I was alone in my thinking. Ask any guy on campus what the different sorority reputations were and he will tell you that nobody respects theta. Sorry. Don't shoot the messenger! That's not the battle I wanted to fight in college.
