I sometimes see on this site that people say "x house is really popular with girls from ABC because it is really strong in that area." Is this honestly a thing? I kind of get it for places like TX where PKT or whatever it is reigns supreme, but I feel like greek culture is so much more dominant in the south than other regions. So I wonder if this is more of an assumption because of the greek culture down here. Most people i know who are at ole miss from far out of state want a house where they fit in regardless of if it is strong in their neck of the woods. But the opposite is true for southern girls where the greek pressure is more intense. Does that make sense?
