sure, cheer/dance is a sport, but i don't consider them to be student athletes. actual athletes are like tennis, volleyball, basketball etc but very few of those care about rush. same with the guy sports, very very few football, basketball, baseball players are in frats. i think dance/cheer helps a bit. dg automatically takes any cheerleader. lots of dance/cheer in ddd/kd/adpi. As far as the real sports (tennis, volleyball, basketball etc) I don't think it hurts/helps any
