Sad, but true. I've lived in MS my whole life and I love it to pieces, but we're the poorest and most uneducated state and a lot of students here perpetuate that fact. OOS students bring more money to the school and have a lot to offer. I know some houses don't like OOS students because they're afraid they'll transfer, but doesn't it make sense to let them be a part of your sorority to give them a home so they don't want to transfer? Anyway, it varies from person to person. Remember, not all PNM's are created equal.
