Subject:
setting the record straight on "tiers" here

Poster Message:
Something that I think makes Ole Miss unique is that there are literally no truly “bad” or "bottom tier" sororities… say what you will and take every post on this godforsaken site with a healthy grain of salt (this one included) but I think something the PNMs need to know is that you literally cannot go wrong with any house here - anyone who says there are more than two “tiers” (ooof I hate this culture but I get why it seems like it might matter) is simply nitpicking and trying to find a way to put a certain chapter/chapters on a high horse where they need not be … every single house has amazing women in impressive leadership positions around campus, fun parties, and examples of strong sisterhood manifested in different ways - this list is entirely subjective but the only thing that separates “Tier 1” from “Tier 2” is legacy status if we’re being honest… not anything special about the girls themselves because sorority women across the board vary wildly even within chapters To the PNMs going through, know this “tier” system is just that - nothing to do with the character of the women who will be your sisters, and most certainly has nothing to do with your value or worth (These are alphabetical - any movement within the “ranks” is entirely a matter of personal opinion and most will put their chapter and/or the wealthiest chapter on top, of course) of course tier 1 is the “older” houses and that’s basically it 1. Chi o, DDD, DG, KD, KKG, Phi Mu 2. ADPi, AOII, Aphi, Pi Phi EVERY ONE OF THESE is INCREDIBLE - I would be honored to call any of these women my sisters
