Ok, I am looking for brutally honest feedback. With rush getting closer I just want to make sure I am setting reasonable expectations for myself. I would rather plan for the worst and be pleasantly surprised then plan for what I would like and end up getting disappointed. I am an incoming freshman from Texas and I don’t really know anyone currently in the houses. My resume is pretty good (mostly As, strong volunteer history, leadership in church and choir, dance and theater extracurriculars) but it is definitely not the ‘wow!’ most stacked/amazing resume ever. I am a fourth generation legacy to a sorority that is not at ole miss. I was able to get a multiple recs for most houses but not all. I would probably rate myself at an 8, I am not going to pretend I’m some Gigi hadid level stunning but I know I look pretty dang good. My family has money but not crazy money. Basically, what are my chances of getting a bid. I know since I am not a legacy and don’t have in house connections it will be harder, but how hard will it be? I don't have any notions of ‘must get a top house’ or anything like that, I just wouldn’t want to be in a house where I don’t mess with the other girls.
