While the OOS tuition is cheap compared to other schools, it has gone up enough in the past few years that I've known students who had to return to their home state due to the rise so it has affected some prospects likely. Agree about football dropping being a factor, but there's been enough 'bad behavior' problems in recent years that I think that's a big factor - definitely as someone else said, the KA situation only reinforces racism and that will put many students of color off. Other fraternity incidents, certainly this terrible murder situation (which could happen anywhere but still...) is enough to make some students and parents think otherwise. I know some people have been very put off by how terrible Theta was treated since it indicates a toxic Greek environment and while it might seem silly, some girls don't want to rush in a place where people are treated so badly.
