Well said. The top 3 are the first-founded chapters here (XO first, DDD second and KD fourth); it's the same at any college - "top" chapters are almost always the first-founded. And until about 15 years ago, OM was almost all Miss. and some Southern state students, not the national students it has today so the local pull was even more entrenched. I have relatives who've been in sororities here since the 70's and the rankings - for all chapters - haven't really changed and the same at most schools. Your last paragraph is most important. Same sisterhood, etc. regardless of the letters you wear.
