yes being north will hurt you. do you have alumni here? i'm guessing no. which would be the biggest hit. do you have really close friends here? if no, than you've taken another shot on the foot. by close friends i mean actual friends, not randoms you like on insta. live in the frat house as a freshman? lol. bro you won't even live in the frat house as a sophomore. these houses are big, but only for juniors/seniors, not everyone. bottom line, you'll more than likely get into a frat. def wouldn't be top tier. if you work hard on letters, connections, possibly middle tier. some honest advice, if you aren't from the south and don't have connection, i'd avoid this place. it's not very welcoming. and greek life is a big deal.
