Why do YOU assume that just because girls are IS, their parents must have had to "scrape up" the tuition over years...Many of the IS girls I know, including myself, earned lucrative scholarships, had their choice of colleges in and OOS, and chose Ole Miss because it offered the best education for the money. And even if they didn't get big scholarships, their parents were more than capable of paying for whichever school they chose--anywhere. BTW, there were many OOS state girls in my pledge class, along with many MS girls. If you are a genuinely good person with great grades and a strong resume, you are just as capable of getting top-tier as anyone.
