Why aren't there more sororities at Ole Miss? Because the tier system there is vicious and unchanging. Because after all of the RAH RAH to welcome a new chapter the first year, the existing chapters turn on the new houses like vipers. The back stabbing, gossip and tent talk work to destroy every new house that comes to Ole Miss. "Top tier" sorority members turn on the girls in "lower tier" houses, as if dragging down a newer house makes theirs better. Look at the garbage posted on this site, if you need evidence. If there was a bit of Panhellenic spirit and support of each other on this campus, the entire Greek system would be stronger. But that is never going to happen, is it?
