You should check with your sorority's chapter at OM. Some require that members vote on any transfer to determine if they will affiliate them. If sorority life is really important to you - and it is really big here - visit the chapter to see what you think. What's good at one school isn't necessarily good at another so you might not like the chapter here or feel that it's a fit for you. Also keep in mind that many friendships will be established from those who pledged together so that can be a challenge although that's not always an obstacle. Also some sororities here are very Mississippu and Deep South girls so depending on which one you're in, that's a consideration. Have you visited OM? Even with a lot of OOS students (most are from Southern states) it is still a fairly conservative place. And there are out of region students who do fine. It's good that you're asking these questions. Good luck with your decision!
