Variable quota was tough this past year. I don't think it necessarily changed the 'tier' structure and I also think there were some good quality recruits that were somehow cut through the process, but I do think the recruitment process did need a shake up. I also agree that, with a very few exceptions, the pledge classes were awesome this year for every sorority. The Variable quota helped the two new sororities to get established which is a good thing. Ole Miss actually needs another sorority or two so getting these two news one in a more stable position is good. Sometimes change is painful and variable quota came close to being painful at times, but hopefully as time goes on pain will be gain.
