I've seen Greek life at LOTS of schools, from some on the west coast, to Texas, to across the South, and Ole Miss has one of the best Greek systems by far. I'd say USC on the west coast was the most impressive, in terms of houses, but it has a very different feel. UT's had lots of tradition, but the Austin city campus made things weird. If we're talking about schools with similar systems, I'd say the only one that holds a candle to Ole Miss is Bama. South Carolina has a pretty Greek village, but it's not as intense of a system or rush. Comparing to my friends at Alabama, our rush is more intense since they have so many more out of state girls, even though theirs is bigger numbers wise. Also, as much as we all love our houses and how Southern and traditional they are here in Oxford, I have to admit those houses in Tuscaloosa are insane. Especially the new ones, they're huge! Our Greek system is even more Southern, but theirs is, as much as I hate to admit it, quite impressive. But pan love for al the wonderful sororities here, wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
