I keep seeing people post "just be yourself, you'll do fine" but then I see "connections are the only thing that matters here" Which is it? What if being yourself isn't enough because you don't have the connections, or are from out of state (and I don't mean alabama)? I don't get why people are saying "just be yourself and you'll do fine" when it seems like everything is basically decided before you get on campus???
