Hey. I'm also from OOS and in a mid tier house. Like the others said, make sure you have a rec, or 2, for every sorority and it's a good idea to have an Ole Miss Alum do at least one of those recs. Variable Quota makes things interesting. The houses are told how many girls they have to cut - the top 3 cut 1000 girls after first round, mid tier cut about 800 girls. In other words the houses have to cut so many after Round one, they use any excuse, so maximize your chances by having recs. I didn't have a rec for one mid tier house, and it was the only one I wasn't invited back after First Round. Keep an open mind, meet people, get recs. We have a super strong Greek life, so you really can't go wrong. Rush is stressful, but worth it. Good luck!
