I'm coming to ole miss next year from the northeast. I don't have any connections to Ole Miss. However I'm a legacy to one of your "lower" tier houses - my mom was an XYZ and my sister is a current active at a school closer to here. I'm not concerned about my grades or my involvement or resume, but how much do those connections matter in the lower tiers? Will that get you cut?
