I was a double legacy. I was invited back until pref night then dropped. I was invited to four houses the previous night. My top 2 cut me and was left with 1 mid tier and 1 lower tier. I pledged one of them, and I love it. But I would be completely lying if I didn't tell you it still hurts. I had dreamed of being a member of this house my whole life and I often find myself comparing my house to them unfairly. Variable quota was brutal and I am one of the ones who was shocked and hurt. I keep believing God had a better plan for me.
