I just want to say I came into rush thinking I only wanted a certain "top tier" sorority. I had a good friend in one of those sororities. I was certain I was getting my 1st choice. I was blind sided when I got cut from my friend's sorority right after round 3. I hung out with those girls, was courted by them, and fell in love with them. I was devastated. I talked to my friend in that sorority and she convinced me not to drop. I have to say, I am so happy that I listened. I wound up finding a home in a sorority I did't even consider before starting. Seriously, look at every sorority. When you walk through the houses, think hard and openly. My opinions of the sorority that I pledged changed each day I went through. I finally listed to my opinions and not all of the tent talk. There were so many girls who had multiple friends in sororities that they got cut from. Some dropped all together and some continued. There were girls who were not happy with whatever their outcome was. If you can get over the high school mentality, you will be fine. Seriously, the houses are all filled with amazing girls.
