There is no difference as far as I'm concerned. Hazing is hazing! Nobody should be forced into doing something they don't want to do! At lease derby days is in the spring after everybody has already be initiated and girls have more options. My freshman year theta encore was mandatory if you wanted to be initiated, derby days was voluntary for points.
