What does being a Jackson, MS private school girl have anything to do with it? Harvard can't just pick students from private high schools in Massachusetts. They need some diversity from groups not traditionally considered smart (african americans, mexicans, native americas etc.). (Not offending anyone, just making a case). I think that is the case here, every house needs a little diversity and obviously she's heads over heels above anyone else out of state with non legacy status.
