SIP is a bad idea unless you are okay with never being in a sorority. - If you suicide and don't get your house you are not eligible for a snap bid, which, though rare, does happen. - If you list both houses and are offered a bid and do not accept it then you are not getting any house this year. No COB, no snap, nothing. You will have to wait until next year to go through recruitment again, at which point your odds of getting any house are close to zero. - If you list both houses and you are not high enough on either's bid list before they each reach quota, then you will be added back in as a quota addition. A PNM in this situation is considered first for her #1 house until that house reaches house total, then for her #2. - If you get a bid, any bid, take it and give your new pledge class your very best effort. You will be surprised how you will fall in love with your new house.
