7) To the girls that want to be greek right now but aren't - I'm so sorry. You did nothing wrong. Please don't ask yourself where it went wrong. There will probably houses that COB or spring rush. Even if they cut you during rush or if you cut them give them a chance. Get to know other freshmen in their PC and become friends with them. Join a couple of campus organizations and make friends there. Make sure you get good grades this semester. Remember you're lucky to get a bid anywhere and everywhere has something to offer. If you still want to be Greek when spring rush rolls around, then go for it! But remember it isn't the end all be all and does not define you or your college experience. If you decide you're okay without being Greek, then that's completely okay. But if you still want it then I hope you get it. And I hope you know you weren't just a number that we cut. You are a person and we fought over it, cried over it, and lost sleep over it. I want you to be happy, and if you have questions or want advice, just ask.
