Kd is cutting them because historically ddd bids rebelletsb and kd hates losing to ddd. They would rather cut girls than compete with other sororities. Their alumni also contact other alumni in different sororities. If they know a sorority is going after a girl, they will cut her saying she would be "happier in another sorority".
