Theoretically yes you will get a bid. But more and more I'm hearing about girls who are getting their second choices. Happened to both my roommate and a good friend of mine. Both cried on bid day. Write down your first choice, but understand the possibility of getting your second. After pref, in the year I went through (3 years ago) we were told that it was mandatory for us to sleep in our own rooms so our gamma chi's could find us in case we were released. So the possibility was there that something rare could happen after pref. Like both chapters met quota before they got to your name and neither was willing to take on quota additions. If the rumors are true, then we won't be seeing any quota additions this year. You theoretically could go bidless or given a snap bid to a sorority you didn't pref.
