All the houses are big. Too big for that matter. The only exception is aphi who is just starting out, but this year they will take a huge pledge class. Without connections you will most likely take some big hits. Unless you are beautiful and extremely outgoing, it's unlikely the top four houses will even notice you. Maybe even the top six. There are still five great houses that connections don't matter as much, largely because of return rates and the fact they they won't have to make big cuts after the first two rounds and can get to know you a little better through out rush week.
