I think I know this mom, and she is harmless. She promotes Panhellenic spirit and encourages girls to go Greek, not necessarily chi o. In Texas, kappa/pi phi/theta are very popular. If you go to UT, those are the top followed by xo and Ddd. Kd and dg are low tier at UT. Girls from Houston gravitate towards kappa and pi phi at ole miss because those are the sororities many of their friends go back home. They also like xo because this mom is so encouraging. I don't know a single tri delt from Houston, so I doubt the op is a tri delt, and kd is only popular with the private schoolers who like to party. Xo gets the private schoolers who like to study. There is really no competition. Like I said earlier, she is harmless. If she hasn't been in contact with you, it's seriously no big deal. Houston girls don't really go xo that much anyway!
