As far as camp goes, yes, the connections you make while at camp do help, not because you attended a camp, but because you met girls who can help you through rush! Top six sororities do not usually take girls they don't already know. Whether it's an active or an alumni, connections are critically important. Camps are just one way of making connections, not the only way.
