I had a 3.2 and was cut from dg and kappa after the first round. Top houses kept me around because I had connections, they are more willing to keep girls with above a 3.0 because they have more girls to balance out the low ones. Big however, I heard that Ddd was stepping up their grade requirements to make them more competitive grades wise. Apparently they are tired of always being number 4 with gpa. Kappa did it two years ago but is still having problems. And phi mu is also working hard on raising theirs. Phi mu actually broke into the "above the Greek average" category last fall along with xo, dg, kd, and Ddd.
