As an active, I can tell you that everything you mentioned is allowed. It's not dirty rushing until they promise you a bid. There will come a point after classes start that we will have to go "silent" and not talk or hang out with pnm's, but for now, girls are just letting you know they are interested in you. Realize that no one can promise you a bid. No one can tell you you are xyz material, no one can tell you they are going to vote for you. No one should be bad talking other sororities. Kd rushes everyone hard whether they want you or not. They may be interested in your friend, but feel they need to be nice to you in order to get your friend. Be warned! Most other sororities only rush the girls they want. They don't waste time leading girls on.
