Why is there so much focus on national rank? I joined a pretty strong house nationally when I was at IU but the sisters in my chapter are the ones who are my lifelong friends. I joined my local alumnae association and while I've made some friends, nothing has come close to the connections with my chapter sisters. Don't worry so much about national strength as much as whether or not you see yourself becoming lifelong sisters with the women in the chapter.
