Suck. Even if your could participate in recruitment, you most likely would not get a bid. The chapters have much higher GPA requirements and most are not willing to take a grade risk, no matter how awesome she is. There are tons of awesome girls who DID make their grades. If you couldn't make the minimum gpa requirement with fewer distractions than new sorority members will have, what makes you think you will be able to do it WITH those distractions, i.e., new member meetings, chapter meetings, sisterhoods, parties, etc.? Pledge the library this semester, get your GPA up, and rush next year.
