Please stop trying to stir up trouble. I am involved with recruitment and I can tell you that even if Panhellenic allowed women with any GPA to go through recruitment there would be even more hurt and upset women than there will be on bid day. Each of the national organizations set its minimum GPA for pledging and for initiation. If an organization has a rule that women must have a 2.8 to be initiated, then every women below that 2.8 would have to be let go because they could not be initiated. In my organization, chapters are allowed to set higher GPA minimums than our national requires. We can require a higher GPA, but cannot go below our national minimum. All you are doing is upsetting those women who were right under 2.8. All campuses have GPA minimums. At many of the Southern campuses, women will be automatically cut under 3.0.
