Saying to someone who made pref night that the chapter wanted them is the same as telling someone not admitted off of a college wait list that that college wanted you or someone who didn't get drafted that the NFL wanted them. It's simply not true. The harsh truth is that the chapter "wanted" the PNM enough to give them an alternate spot if enough of what they considered their better picks didn't want them back. It's not the same thing as actually being wanted or just being shy of being wanted because no chapter 100% gets everyone they want and so every chapter needs to move down to some of their alternate picks anyway. The rejected girls weren't high enough on the alternate list to get accepted off of it. That's the truth.
