Why is number of chapters such a big deal? Some nationals are at schools where Greek life really isn't a big deal or it's a commuter school. Those chapters are not equal to a bigger traditional campus. Look at number of chapters located in major conferences: Big Ten, Pac 12, ACC, SEC, Big XII. Phi Sigma Sigma Sigma Delta Tau Delta Phi Epsilon Sigma Sigma Sigma Alpha Sigma Alpha Alpha Sigma Tau Alpha Epsilon Phi Theta Phi Alpha are not represented well at major campuses.
