No it isn't. Without going into secret details, GPA can come into the equation even if you meet the house's minimum. Also, not all houses will necessarily have a 3.0 minimum. Some may be higher. You simply won't know. That being said, you can meet the minimum GPA and still get dropped for all kinds of reasons (and sometimes no real reason at all except that we wanted other PNMs more than you for whatever reason.) So GPA is only one factor. Your GPA is what it is. There isn't anything you can do about it at this point so stop focusing on it and work on the things you can do something about like the way you present yourself.
