hi everyone, I know it's the middle of summer and rush isn't until second semester but as college gets closer, the more anxious I'm getting about (hopefully) joining a sorority. greek life is something I'm really looking forward to at IU, but I know the recruitment process can kind of be brutal. I plan on going into rush with a completely open mind (easier said than done, I know) and no reservations about the bottom-tier houses, and I don't have my heart set on any top houses either. that being said, how difficult is it to get a bid from a middle-tier house? I don't have thousands of instagram followers, loads of money, or a 10/10 face or body, but I'd like to think I'm a pretty good conversationalist, and I plan on having a good GPA and to get involved. I like the idea of greek life because of the sisterhood aspect, but I'm always game for a good party too. okay sorry for the long post, but basically, tldr: how hard is it to get into a middle-tier sorority?
