THIS. This is why rush at Indiana is so hard compared to other schools. There are no bonus points for recommendations/who you know/GPA/legacy. Sororities here just do not care about that. It literally just has to do with personality and nothing more. There are almost 2,000 girls who go through rush and each sorority only needs 50 of their "type." Sororities can afford to be picky but the higher the tier the more exclusive they get. What are the odds that you, out of 1,700, are exactly the kind of girl they want?
