i totally am with ya on this. i've been to "lower" frats and i've had so much fun. honestly it's what you make of it. If a snobby girl is going to a "lower" house and is assuming she won't have fun, she's not gonna like it. tiers have been set in stone for a while. just look at the posts from 2009 or something in the other discussions. their rankings are fairly close to what they are now!
