I’m sorry that recruitment didn’t go well for you. There is always the option of going through rush as a sophomore. Like the other poster said, I highly recommended getting involved in campus. It’s not always the case but the girls that typically have the strongest recruitment as sophomores are those that get to know various girls in sororities through involvement or athletics. I would look at something like Dance Marathon. It tends to be a heavily Greek organization. You could get to know girls from multiple chapters through that. The other nice thing about it is that you can actually have real conversations without the formality and stiffness that sometimes comes in recruitment. Even if it doesn’t work out with rush, you will have been involved in a great organization that does some real good and will certainly make stronger friendships with new people.
