HOWEVER if you suicide (Single Intentional Preference - SIP), you aren't eligible for a quota addition which are now used. So if you didn't SIP, and weren't high enough on the bid lists of either pref sorority to get a bid, you'd be placed in one of them anyway and that could be the one you're thinking of suiciding. So yeah, technically if you don't suicide you may be increasing your odds of getting the house you want if you're not high enough on their bid list OR the bid list of the other house. But that usually doesn't happen since almost anyone who is thinking of suiciding wants a much more popular house and their other choice is a much less popular house. ONLY SUICIDE IF YOU ARE OK WITH NEVER BEING GREEK AT IU!!!!!!!!!
