People are for the most part are trying to be pragmatic here and trying help you. Please do not lash out at us. We have all gone through it. I pledged as a sophomore because when I went through rush (I am now a senior) there were three relatively new un-housed chapters. I made the mistake of suiciding, got cut from my desired house and ended up with nothing. I am VERY fortunate because it worked out for me the second time. Lesson learned. No house is "less than." Hope you learn one as well. Best of luck.
