I'm seeing a lot bashing of various houses on here and as a recent alum (as of Dec), I can promise you that your sorority tier does not matter at all. You're going to be living with there girls for a long time (until your senior year in some cases). Ask yourself if those are the girls you picture as your lifelong friends. The bottom tier sororities seem to be taking some heat but please don't let other opinions sway your decision. Every IU chapter is fantastic and will give you the typical sorority experience. I was in a housed "bottom" chapter and the hardest thing about graduating was leaving my sisters. I would never exchange my house for one in another tier.. ever.
